360° De – Contamination against harmful pathogens

Any enclosed environment can contain an invisible cloud of pathogens, microorganisms, and contaminants which move on the air currents and get distributed all over the premises circulating through the heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems impacting the health and wellness of people causing adverse health effects, including allergic, toxic, and infection responses. Decontamination is therefore an essential process to keep our immediate surrounding safe and livable. Depending on the risk profile associated, the decontamination of a place can be either carried out by disinfection or through sterilization. Disinfection is the process of eliminating or reducing harmful microorganisms while sterilization is the process of killing all microorganisms.

Innovative Sterilizers empowered by advanced technologies provide an effective 360º decontamination method for inactivation of aerosol-based microorganisms and contaminated surfaces. The Ultraviolet spectrum of light is a reliable and effective decontamination technology that can destroy various microbial types. The 254nm wavelength of the UV spectrum, commonly referred as UVC, is the most effective energy segment in this process.

This de-contamination process consists of breaking down the structure of DNA or RNA in the microorganism’s cells which in turn breaks the genetic material chain consisting of the nucleic acids and proteins thus killing the regenerative cells. The effectiveness of this de-contamination process can be evaluated by checking the protein microbicidal activity against bacterial and viral agents including E. coli, human influenza, and other viruses.
